First time I've tried this so hope it works. Had a good trip to NY this summer and fished the mighty St. Lawrence River at the thousand Islands with Duane and Capt. Russ for smallmouth. Picture perfect weather, beautiful scenery, crystal clear water and the fishing was absolutely horrible. It's a good thing we weren't having a shore lunch, because we only would have had some of Bolser's French toast. Caught 4 small northerns, about 6 small smallmouths and 8"perch. It took a brave man to hold out his hand after a day on the water like that.

However, all is not lost!!!!Duane and I leave Fri. for THE PREMIER NORTHERN PIKE AND LAKE TROUT FISHERY IN THE WORLD!!!!! Duane's trip of a lifetime is about here. All the slimy northerns he can catch. I am looking forward to catching lakers that avg. 10-12 lbs. with the good chance of getting a 30. Nueltin Lake will never be the same!!!!!
